The Yorkshire Planetarium is booked on a first come first served basis. An initial contact should include the potential dates that you are thinking of. Each show can hold 30 Primary School students and their teachers / assistants, or 25 adults, so this will give you an idea of how many people can be accommodated in a three-show morning. Please note that the booking is made for a half day (three 1-hour shows maximum), or a full day (usually five 1-hour shows). If you want something different we are open to discussion. If you only want two shows they will be charged as a half day but you could add a question and answer session for both classes at the end. We will do evening, or weekend, shows if the client wishes this.
Once a date(s) is agreed upon a booking form will be sent to you to sign and return to confirm your order. This will be accompanied with a risk assessment form for your information. You will receive an invoice on the date of the show (or before if your finance department wishes) and the DBS form will be available for inspection.
I do reserve the right to charge travel expenses but these would be discussed at the time of booking if the venue is a very long way (i.e. over 50 miles) from Leeds.
